Breakfast & Lunch
Breakfast is on the menu every day we're open. The Bacon, Egg & Cheddar breakfast sandwich is the single most-ordered thing in the shop: crispy bacon, egg and sharp cheddar with a light spread of mayo on your choice of bread. The Classic omelet comes right behind it, made to order with bacon and melty sharp cheddar.
There's avocado toast on toasted artisan bread, a crustless ham and cheese quiche, breakfast sandwiches with ham and Swiss or with avocado, spinach and mozzarella, and a build-your-own if you'd rather call your own shots.
Weekends are brunch. Doors open at 7 on Saturday and 8 on Sunday, and the kitchen runs until close.
Lunch is sandwiches, pressed and made fresh the moment you order. Aunt Lee's famous chicken salad on a butter-rich croissant. A Reuben on marble rye. Pimento cheese pressed till golden. A Southwestern chicken avocado BLT. Most come whole or half.
There's soup every day after 11: creamy chicken and rice all week, loaded potato Monday through Wednesday, French onion Thursday through Saturday. Plus quesadillas, a chicken Caesar wrap, hummus with grilled pita, and salads whole or half.
The sweets are ours. Cheesecakes, scones, muffins, white chocolate bread pudding, gluten-free blueberry delight and hand-rolled Oreo truffles are all made in our own kitchen. So is the coffee. Dell roasts every bag we brew right here in Laurel.
